Why would I use NNCJ over the major job boards?
Job boards are amazing pieces of technology, however they have amplified the problems with the industry. What we mean by that is you post a job and get 300 applications, 295 of which are probably not suitable but you still have to assess the resumes to find that five who should have applied. In those 300 applications you will find a heap of people that think “I’d love to live on the North Coast” and why wouldn’t you if you lived in Melbourne. At NSW North Coast Jobs we only have jobs from the NSW North Coast, so the applicants all come from our location. If you are looking to attract people from outside our region, we suggest you use another job board.
